Hello from Carpe Money
A place for notes on privacy-first budgeting, what is new in the app, and how it gets built.
This is the Carpe Money blog. It is written by the same independent developer who builds the app, and it will stay short and plain.
What you will find here
- What is new. When something ships, it gets a post that says what changed and why. Carpe Money is on the web at my.carpemoney.app and, since September 2026, on the App Store. Android is in progress.
- How the privacy model works. The app fetches your accounts read-only and stores nothing. That deserves more than a sentence in a footer, so expect longer explanations of what "store nothing" means in practice.
- How the pricing works. Every member gets the complete app. Annual pricing is pay-what-you-want, and higher tributes buy support, never features. We will write about how that is going, with real numbers only when they are real.
